The challenge
The problem worth solving.
A benefits platform handling dental, vision, and behavioral-health data holds some of the most sensitive PHI there is, across web, mobile, and admin surfaces. Built with Careington International Corporation for a health-tech startup, it had to be defensible under scrutiny: provably and inspectably secure.
What we built
We engineered the platform — web, iOS, Android, and an admin panel — for HIPAA from the ground up, with the controls that let a system be governed and audited: on-demand remote wipe of personal health information, tamper-evident audit logging with periodic review, SSL/TLS private-network servers under round-the-clock monitoring, informed-consent flows for telemedicine, source-code obfuscation, and server-side encryption with automated backup.
Why it fits
Governance and auditability is about being able to prove what a system did and protect what it holds — human oversight, a reviewable record, and controls that stand up to inspection. Tamper-evident logging that is actually reviewed, on-demand PHI wipe, and monitored private-network infrastructure are that capability made concrete. It is our clearest demonstration of PHI-security and auditability engineering, delivered with Careington for a health-tech startup.
